Doctors identify "chronic tension-type headaches" as headaches that occur almost daily for at least six months. Can antidepressant medications or stress management training reduce the number and severity of these headaches? Are both together more effective than either one alone? The research design necessitates the creation of 4 treatment groups: Stress Management alone; Medication alone; Both Stress Management and Medication; Neither Stress Management or Medication.
The headache sufferers named below have agreed to participate in the study. Randomly assign the subjects to the treatment groups. If you use Random Sample software, assign all of the subjects and identify the software that was used to obtain the samples.
