When you asked, "Why do you work out?", you got the following answers:

    lose weight
    lose weight
    lose weight
    lose weight
    lose weight
    lower blood pressure
    lower blood pressure
    stay in shape
    stay in shape
    stay in shape
    stay in shape
    stay in shape
    stay in shape
    stay in shape
    stay in shape

    ----------------------------

Above, I listed all the data you have, just so we can visualize it. Now, let's get to the assignment.

    (1) What's the mean? There is no mean. You can only calculate the mean if you have numbers. You add all the numbers together, then divide by the number of data points. If you had numerical data (like their weights), then you could calculate the mean.

    (2) What's the median? There is no median. Like the mean, you can only calculate the median if you have numbers. You list the numbers from smallest to largest, and pick the number that's in the middle of the list.

    (3) What's the mode? We can answer this! The mode is the answer that occurs the most often. Since more people said "to stay in shape" than said anything else, then the mode is "to stay in shape".
