Population Parameters. A population consists of these values: 2,3,6,8,11,18

a) Find U (mu), mean; Find Sigma (std. deviation)

b) List all the samples of size n= 2 that can be obtained without replacement

c) Find the population of all values of x (with bar over it) by finding the mean of each sample from part (b)

(d)Find the mean U and standard deviation Sigma with a line over it to the root of x with a line over it, for the population for the sample means found in (c).

Solution Summary

This solution calculates the mean and standard deviation of the population and sample and lists all the sample size that can be obtained without replacement. In addition, full workings are shown in an Excel file.
