The political-economic system affects the problems related to the American economy and work, due to the fact that the politics involved with providing jobs for American workers invariably affects the economy in a number ways, which will subsequently affect work. Large corporations are presently outsourcing a great deal of their work, and are employing individuals other than Americans. Due to the fact that our American economic system is based on capitalism and free enterprise, there is little that we can legally do to stop this outsourcing. Since the constituents that finance the campaigns of politicians are usually big corporations, these politicians must keep their constituents happy and content by supporting policies that are favorable to these corporations. The tremendous amount of outsourcing is having a detrimental effect on workers in America, and thereby the American economy at large.
