Biological factors are the hereditary factors, such as your inherited longevity (e.g., genes dictate how long you live), your general health status (inherited depression tendencies, poor nutrition, lack of exercise, etc.); illnesses and level self-care.
Factors include such things as:
* Genetic predisposition to longevity
* Health status
* Accidents/illness that reduce level of functioning and/or life expectancy
* Level of self care (3)
Environmental Factors include such things as nutrition and exercise which also impact physical development and health throughout the life span. Lifestyle as well plays a part e.g., sports causes arthritis later in life; injuries, etc.).
