    Suppose the mean radius of a planet is 6.79 106 m, and that of its moon is 1.80 108 cm. From these data calculate the following. Recall that the surface area of a sphere is 4πr 2 and the volume of a sphere is below.

    First convert the radius of the moon rmoon = 1.80 * 108 cm = 1.80 * 106 m

    (a) Find the ratio of the planet's surface area to that of its moon

    (b) Find the ratio of the planet's volume to that of its moon.
