A 200 g ball hits a wall perdendicularly with a velocity of 20 m/s. If the collision last miliseconds, what is the average force exerted by the ball on the wall?© BrainMass Inc. brainmass.com July 21, 2018, 3:20 pm ad1c9bdddf
Hello and thank you for posting your question to Brainmass
You dont gve teh actuall time. I use t=1ms. If iyou have a different value for the time of collision, just substitute a differnt number in the final equation to find the force
Newton's second law states that the force is teh change in momentum ...
Calculation of the force of a collision.
