If children are using the computer, there should be control software installed that prevents the children from accessing dangerous or unsuitable sites. If there is important data you store on your computer, the data should be stored in an encrypted form. There should be precautions taken when the user is shopping online. The shopping should be done on a secure website. Submitting credit card information on other sites can lead to frauds. Never provide information to websites whose credentials are not known.
When using e-mails, users are cautioned to turn on spam blockers. This is important to keep away dangerous e-mails.
