Since the 9/11 attacks, society has become more vigilant in their methods that they approach terroristic threats at large. Whether the threat comes from a foreign organization or is home grown here in the United States, law enforcement agencies have enacted anti-terrorism teams to combat terrorist threats. In saying this, federal law enforcement agencies have taken the lead in educating citizens and smaller law enforcement agencies (local and state) on possible threats and hazards associated with terrorist organizations. In saying this, one of the biggest threats in regards to our national defense is against biological, chemical, and nuclear acts of terrorism against the United States.
