I think that a very good argument for turning the correctional system over to the private correctional industry, would be the billions of dollars in savings for the taxpayers and government. This would be a very good reason for turning the correctional system over to the private correctional industries, due to the fact that these billions of dollars in savings at the state and federal level would provide additional resources that can be utilized for investment in the educational system, providing food and shelter for the homeless, job creation, pay raises for teachers, etc. Due to these factors, turning over the correctional system to the private correctional industry would be beneficial to taxpayers and mainstream society, due to ...
