If the company can identify another field of eye care, for instance opening a eye care hospital in New York area for potential opthalmic patients, it can cause an outward shift in its PPC, due to an increase in the available workforce or a rise in the amount of capital equipment available for businesses to use. Acquiring land for the construction of hospital may also become available for the production process.
