Introduction:

A canning company is about to receive 60,000 pounds of ripe tomatoes from which it can produce canned tomato juice or tomato paste. Each case of tomato juice requires 24 pounds of tomatoes to produce whereas each case of tomato paste only requires 8 pounds of tomatoes. At most, the company can sell a maximum of 2,000 cases of tomato juice. At most, the company can sell a maximum of 6,000 cases of tomato paste. The company can sell a case of juice for \$18 and a case of paste for \$9.
