Task -
After gathering the needed data to your Individual Project for the previous task you have sub-contracted with a transportation management company to actually perform the analysis. This company will provide an unbiased, numbers based, recommendation of whether or not to proceed with the project. Should Canbide proceed with the project based purely on the numbers, or are there other factors, which need to be considered?
This is a question that I find confusing as I feel that it was answered within the previous task (which is included). However, the response I gathered from the professor is the following: the analysis performed by the Transportation company deals with Quantitative Analysis of the numbers which focuses on "numbers". This concerns an item(s) that the company would do , that was not based only on what the "numbers seem to say. Think about the "friendly" rivalry that exists between operations/finance on one hand and marketing on the other. A CEO has to measure both points of view.
So I am confused, misguided, lost and in between unfortunately so any/all assistance would be appreciated.
