    One of the main features of Kantian ethics, is the fact that this ethical philosophy is based on the premise that an individual's intent to do what is right, good, or ethical, is an intrinsic good, and that any action that an individual takes in respect to doing what is recognized as good, must come from individual's intrinsic yearning to perform this deed because it is the right thing to do, and not due to some outside necessity to perform the act.
