Fire sprinkler system is aimed at reducing the degree of risk of destruction caused by fire in a warehouse. However, the purpose will only be attained if both financial and non-financial factors are taken into account. This report focuses on the non-financial factors that must be considered in coming up with a decision to install a fire sprinkler system. These include:building/warehouse characteristics, classification of goods that will be stored, availability of well trained personnel to monitor its efficient and effective functioning, and potential tenant base.
