Explain the key ways in which the teachings of the Vedas influence the daily lives of Hindus.
The Vedas, being the oldest of the Hindu scriptures, are actually older than the sacred writings of the other major religions. Similar to other belief systems, the teachings of the Vedas existed long before they were finally in written form.
From the four books that make up the Vedas, each of those books also are made up of four parts. The parts reveal stories that explain how the world began, how it is reborn, the meaning and nature of human existence, and stories of ethical conflict.
