There is a new ride at the amusement park this summer designed specifically for overachieving physics students! For this ride you allow a compressed spring to launch you towards a tank filled with hungry sharks. You first slide down a 40 degree slope then up a 30 degree slope which launches you over the shark tank.
However, this being a ride designed specifically for physics students, you have to tell the operator how far to compress the spring. Using the data provided in the picture, determine the minimum spring compression for you to survive this ride.
