Derivation of a Wave Equation about E,B & V,A.
Not what you're looking for?
1. Derive wave equation (about E, B ) by using Maxwell`s equations.
2. Derive wave equation (about vector potential, scalar potential) by using Maxwell`s equations.
There are no conditions (such as no charges or no current) given, which means I have to solve in a general form!
***I am currently using Reitz's book<Foundations of Electromagnetic Theory> but I think it would be okay to follow other notations of the book such as Griffiths.
Anyway, what Reitz wrote in his book are the maxwell equations in this notation..:
del X H=J+dD/dt
del X E=-dB/dt
del dot D= rho
del dot B= 0.
