Turn in your answers to the following problems to Coursenet:

1)  For the circuit below find:

           a) The current through R1.

           b) The current through R2.

           c)  The current at the ammeter.

         a) The current through R1.

         b) The current through R2.

       a)   The reactance of the inductor L.

       b)   The impedance of the resistor and inductor in series.

 

You do not need to find the phase of the current in this circuit.

4)  Find impedance of the circuit.

Note that, in general, the impedance is the total passive resistance in the circuit due to resistors, capacitors, and inductors.  In this particular problem, there is no inductor.
