I don´t. People do because they think that this provides jobs in the country when the purchase domestic products, which strengthens the economy. They find it unfair to pay a foreigner significantly less for a product than they would a domestic worker and even have ethical concerns about the exploitation of foreigners in other countries. These things affect the utility that they derive from foreign goods and domestic goods.
