In my opinion, the federal reserve has not permed adequately over the several years. Spanning back a little past two years, the CEO of the Federal Reserve stated that he knew the events leading up to the recession in 2008 weren't good, and that he, and the entire Federal Reserve, both knew that a recession was imminent based on the way that the economic events were unfolding, yet they chose not to act!
