As a project manager, several project procurement management activities have been performed. For example, a company's overall procurement requirements were defined by the project manager (Morris & Pinto, 2007). It means the manager determined what the company needed, how much it needed and when it needed it. To accomplish this step, different types of procurement contracts were used, deadlines were established and procurement performance evaluation criteria were also developed.
