As a project manager, several project procurement management activities have been performed. For example, a company's overall procurement requirements were defined by the project manager (Morris & Pinto, 2007). It means the manager determined what the company needed, how much it needed and when it needed it. To accomplish this step, different types of procurement contracts were used, deadlines were established and procurement performance evaluation criteria were also developed. Project procurement plans were also conducted by the manager. To do this, specific instructions and guidelines were also conducted by the project manager for the team (Rowe, 2007).
Competition of Project Management Activities
Different types of activities have not been completed by the project manager. For instance, quantity, cost and deadlines were not made by the project manager. Additionally, the goals as well as long term objectives were not addressed or completed in a specific manner (Dow & Taylor, 2010). Along with this, performance of the project was not evaluated in order to improve the procurement plan.
