1.) According to the website, boys seem to be exposed to video game violence more than girls. For instance, in one survey, 242 boys ranked Grand Theft Auto as the #1 most played video game. This is a very violent game that comes with a warning label as it has strong sexual references, car thefts, gore, drug use, and very violent content. On the other hand, amongst girls, The Sims raked #1 as most played game, followed by Grand Theft Auto. This tells us that, although boys seem to be more attracted to the game than girls, both groups expressed a high interest in the game and play it frequently.
