Psychological Reasons to not show Support

I wonder why some of my friends and family did not show any acknowledgement towards me graduating from college? I only had three people out of 24 shared their acknowledgment by say congratulations. I thought that most people that I knew would be happy for me and be supportive of my accomplishment.
Does this mean that no response shows that they really do not care?
Why would someone not be happy and supportive toward someone academic achievement?
My plan is to continue my education, what should I do too stay positive and not feel disappointed?
