As noted in Robbins, Hersey and Blanchard's situational leadership is a contingency theory that focuses on the followers and the readiness to which people have the ability and the willingness to accomplish a specific task. House's path-goal theory focuses on the responsibility of the leader to provide followers with information, support, or other resources necessary for them to achieve their goals (Robbins, 2007).
In order to establish the level of adaptability required of leaders to achieve the organization's goals.
