The service previously was under municipality of Hallington but now with new law coming into force it is governed by independent Board though owner is municipality of Hallington. Vision adopted by new Board reflects its present outlook of whole environment in which the emphasis is on opening the utilities to private sector so that competition can be set and the customer can get cheaper and better services. The vision is: "Excellence in customer service with competitive electricity rates and knowledge of power that is first class." (see rest in posting)
