Geert Hofstedes' Cultural Dimensions are:
Individualism-collectivism: this is the extent to which individuals are integrated into groups. On the individualist side, social ties are loose, and each person is responsible for himself and his immediate family. On the collectivist side, societies have formed distinct groups, which protect them throughout life (for example, extended families).
Power Distance: this is the extent to which the less powerful members of organizations and institutions expect and accept that power is not distributed equally. It is the judgment of inequality from below.
Uncertainty Avoidance: this is the extent that society tolerates uncertainty and ambiguity. It is how much society's members feel comfortable or uncomfortable with unstructured situations compared to strict laws and rules.
Achievement-Nurturing: this is the distribution of roles between genders, with the extent to which members of society display assertive and competitive behaviors in contrast to more nurturing behavior. ...
