a. The sticker on the automobile claims that cars of this type get an average of 30 miles per gallon. However the average of these 20 autos is only 28.6 miles per gallon. What can we conclude? Is the claim of 30 too high, or is the 28.6 just the result of random variation due to sampling? Justify your answer with a statistical explanation.

b. All stickers say "Your mileage may vary". Based on these data what would be a likely range for the mileage of an individual owner?
