No, we are unfortunately NOT always getting the correct numbers and interpretations (which are subjective and always somewhat biased by the person who interprets the figures). In other words, depending on the interpreter's motives (e.g., conservative slant, liberal slant, religious slant, etc.), the interpretation is often biased towards their values, motives and/or goals. All interpretations, however, are judgments and thus subjective. Thus, by nature interpretations will reflect the interpreter's views.
