I'm attempting to estimate the total number of defective computer processors in all of the boxes shipped by our company during the past week. The number of defective processors found in each of 50 randomly selected boxes shipped during the past week is listed below. I need to construct a 99% confidence interval for the total number of defective processors contained in the 1000 boxes shipped by our company during the past week.
