Human services workers can represent groups that are working hard for influencing the decision making of the government and other authorities for the benefit of society and public. Human services worker can themselves become active citizens as well as motivate others to step forward and raise their voices for influencing outcomes.
Example, human services workers can help in advocating voice of citizens for reducing environmental and water pollution by industries in a particular area by influencing the decisions of the regulatory authorities regarding establishment of laws that ban pollution and penalties for such organization. ...
