There is a lot of interesting research showing that the brain is lateralized, or that each brain hemisphere is specialized for specific types of functions. This study by Sim & Martinez is a perfect example of this.
Much research indicates that the left brain is better set up for logical types of activity while the right brain is more capable of dealing with emotional processing.
