A thin, straight copper bar 3.00 meters long at 30.0 degrees C is arranged to activate a switch that turns on the air conditioning when the temperature gets too high. The bar must increase in length 0.300 mm to reach the switch. What must the higher temperature be to increase the length of the copper bar by 0.300 mm? (?copper = 17 x 10-6 oC-1)
