I am having a hard time solving literal equations. I know the process is the same as you would solve any linear equation, but I still am having trouble grasping the whole concept. Is there any way of making this easier to learn?
A literal equation contains many letters. One of them is the variable and others can be considered as constants. To solve a literal equation, the most important thing is to identify which letter is the variable and which letter or letters are constants. Then move all the items with that variable to the left and move all other items to the right. Combine the coefficient of the variables and finally solve ...
