To speed up the project process are two main tools. One is fast tracking and the other is crashing. The first tool is fast tracking.
Ramifications of compressing a schedule are usually reflected on time, cost, scope and/or risk of the project. There are two techniques for schedule compression; Fast Tracking and Crashing.
Project Crashing will be to execute the Project X in 8 weeks by reducing the duration between different project activities and by assigning additional resources.
