Why was Judge Robert Bork unable to get a seat on the SUPREME Court and why. Was he railroaded or that the Senate did there job in keeping a BAD judge off the federal bench. This is an opinion question but even though some people may think he was railroaded, that is the main purpose of the Senate when it comes to potential Supreme Court Judges, to make sure that the Judge who is appointed represents the views of the people and the people pick their representatives to look out for their best interest.
