Unlawful consumption of alcohol is classified as a Class A misdemeanor for anyone under the legal drinking age of 21. If a person is found guilty of unlawful consumption of alcohol, they can receive a monetary fine of up to $500 and a jail sentence up to 1,030 days.

Unlawful transportation of alcohol is considered unlawful if a person is NOT transporting the liquor for work related purposes or to their parents per their directions (even if the person transporting is underage) - they cannot be found guilty of unlawful ...
