The Wannsee Conference was held on January 20th, 1942, shortly after the U.S. entered the war. The conference and its resulting protocol aimed to solve the "Jewish question" and "cleanse German living space of Jews in legal manners." The protocol was a blueprint for the deportation and murder of millions of Jews. Thus the conference was when the "Final Solution" was decided on.
