First of all, I strongly believe that the Indian Removal Act of 1830 was not an act of humanitarianism intended to save the Native American culture and populate from the expansion of white settlers. Instead, I deem it as an extremely racist, subjugating, and horrific act, intended just to get rid of the Native Americans and destroy their culture, allowing white culture to reign supreme.
