I see myself fitting into the IOM future of nursing recommendation, to increase the proportion of nurses with bachelor's degrees to 80% by 2020, due to the fact that I will be completing my bachelor's degree in nursing well before that 2020 target date. I am presently working very hard on obtaining a bachelor's degree in nursing, which is providing me with a great deal of knowledge that can be utilized in carrying out nursing duties in a highly efficient and effective manner for my present employer. In addition, I am very active in helping to influence many of my coworkers to pursue higher education as well.
