About Carliear Thomas

Carliear Thomas lives in Dearborn, Michigan. She received an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Detroit. Carliear graduated from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit with a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies. She is currently a PhD candidate in Education and Counseling Psychology. Her career has taken detours, but always focused on Education, and the theological and behavioral sciences. Carliear's employment and experience in these fields include several years as a teacher at a community college teaching pastoral ministry and psychology. Carliear served as Campus minister for ten years. She worked with underprivileged youth and as an advocate for justice in a Juvenile Justice Detention facility for ten years. She feels honored and happy to pass on her knowledge to the bright students at BrainMass.
