Because Cory earned a full-scale IQ score of 106 classified in the average range of functioning and the 66th percentile, it proves that he is entirely intelligent and capable. However, due to a significant discrepancy between Cory's verbal and visual skills, we also know that he has a learning disability hindering him from achieving what he intelligently is capable of.

b. What are parental concerns?

The parental concerns for Cory are with his reading and overall progress in school.Mrs. Jones' biggest concern is Cory's reading skills which he has trouble employing even after he has been taught them. Furthermore, Mrs. Jones is concerned that he does not retain information well as it takes him three times to go over a word to correct it, although he know it is wrong the first time.

c. Determine what information would be included in present levels (high light in hand-out)

d. Determine the child's strengths and needs (make list) did equal to or better than 34 percent of children his same age
