The success of data analysis or research initiatives can be effectively measured in terms of enhancement in top line revenues, bottom line profitability, improved market share, etc. In other words, it is the success in the overall revenues and profitability that reflects the fruits of effort and resources spent on accurate data analysis and research.

If the correct set of data accurate analysis will not be done, it will result in faulty information for the marketing, sales or operations department, thereby resulting in application of faulty strategies. Therefore, the importance of accurate data subsequent analysis has considerably increased in today's competitive global business world.

The investmen spent on global research and data analysis initiatives can be measured in terms of the top line revenues of the firm.
