Leadership is something that is learnt and is not necessarily an inherited trait. Becoming a good leader requires that one has acquired and developed intelligence, wisdom and creativity. All these elements are essential in becoming a good leader. Sternberg's Triarchic Model of Intelligence describes the three types of intelligence that are inherent in every individual: analytical, practical and creative. Everyone has a mixture of these intelligences and their usefulness depends on how they adapt to their environment and in various situations.
