Interventions are typically organized around four interdependent areas: strategy, technology or structure, human resources, and human process. A key to effective interventions is the understanding that they are part of an entire system requiring considerations of all components and across all levels. In other words, changes to one area will impact the other areas, so consideration must be given to all areas as interventions are selected and implemented. REAL LIFE APPLICATION: Discuss at least two of these four interventions and how they have been implemented in an organization in which you are familiar. Were these interventions successful? What, if anything, would you have done differently with these interventions to make them more successful?
