What is Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs?
Maslow created his hierarchy in a pyramid format to build on the system of needs people have. The levels are at all levels of the human experience and builds from the basic to the self-actualization that makes people who they are in their values and beliefs. It starts with Physiology, moves through safety, love and belonging, into esteem and finally self-actualization. The basic physical needs must be met to continue successfully.
