He was a well known cartoonist who was born in the year 1904 and has written a number of books for children. He has done considerable work in the form of feature films and television specials. He wrote about 60 books for children which were all published and gained great popularity among children. Geisel has contributed greatly towards the movements in the 20th century and his works are examples that portray the events that took place in the 20th century. He was very significant to the cartoon and animation world and his cartoons were among the favorite cartoons of children. Children enjoyed reading his books and the films made by him.

Among all his works, the most famous was "Private Snaru" which was an animated documentary for giving instructions to the soldiers and was a great contribution towards preparing them for the Second World War.
