Expansion of the rubber tires company into different countries will play part in ensuring that there is increase in the amount of revenues generated as a result of the expansion of the market base served by the company. Japan is an example of country in which opening a new subsidiary company for the rubber tire production would be considered appropriate. This is however associated with several advantages and disadvantages which have to be taken into consideration (DATAMONITOR: The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, 2011).
The availability of stringent laws in Japan is an example of the legal issues that the managers of the new companies should take into consideration before expanding to the new market. The laws include environmental degradation laws which require the company to adhere to the strict rules to avoid polluting the environment during manufacturing. There are also acts such as TREAD Act which requires that the company adheres to some standards such as the level of pressure to be accommodated by the tires available.

The concept of international orientation is considered to be vital to an organization since it is involved in the provision of the various descriptions and analysis of the effects of globalization to the existing dynamics of the business.
