Communication plays a role between public relations and the internal organization in that it is important to keep one's employees informed about what is happening and, in addition, work on selling them on new programs and products so that they are behind the company's programs. In the event a company fails to communicate with its' employees and focuses solely on its' customers, then there is a disconnect and employees do not feel valued and vital to the organization.
