Photosynthesis in Cyanobacteria

Photosynthesis, in general, is accompained by the release of oxygen. Prokaryotes are exception to it as a typical bacterial photosynthesis is anoxygenic (oxygen is not released). However, cyanobacteria is an exception to the bacterial photosynthesis as it is oxygenic.
